My older card ( 660 gtx ) works OK with 378 branch, but not the 1060gtx The only solution for now seems to remain with 376.60/376.33 or any other older driver. I tried all possible solutions, DDU, fresh Windows 10 圆4 install+1607ver updates, disable AHCi, Reset bios cmos, reseating gpu in pcie, installing only the driver without physx or audio or Geforce Exp, all failed.
378.66 driver failed to install drivers#
Final solution - went online to Nvidia drivers and found a newer driver, installed and all is good now. When it loads well, all is good until next restart when it throws error code 43. Checked Nvidia Experience again update available, ok click and a few minutes later the install failed and NV Experience was gone. Ill let you know in a day or two if the problem was solved by updating the drivers. BIOS version could not be updated due to mismatching motherboard models (not so obvious in my opinion). The graphic and razer drivers have now been updated. Sometimes the driver succesfully loads on boot, but most of the time not. Thanks for your response and recommended actions.
